After the routing against Arsenal in the FA cup , and the committed professional performance against Lyon with one crucial away goal , It is time to get the minds back on premiership as we travel to Newcastle .

Newcastle United will be looking for the revenge for the 6-0 , but it looks implausible to get 3 points against an inform united with the squad depth we possess right now  .
Although we played 4-5-1 against Lyon and Arsenal , it is unlikely we would play the boring system of  4-5-1 against the magpies who have started to score goals at least , but still conceding goals from everywhere .

It could be the return in the starting eleven for Michael Carrick , as not only did carrick have a peach of the game against them in the 6-0 , but also that the game could be played mostly on the Newcastle half and we need the precision and the choices carrick brings . Anderson who had a good game against Lyon , might not be preferred to start , owing to the importance of Hargreaves or Scholes . Anderson is most like our true trump card needed when we have to make a run for it , to increase the speed of our attack , that driving force .

With games like Newcastle United , we are most likely to dominate the possession and hence forth we need players who are good passers . Hence , it could be carrick and hargo or carrick and scholes in the midfield with ronaldo sure to start . It would be interesting to see who fergie picks between Giggs and Nani . Giggs , with all due respect had a very normal game by his standards against lyon . On the Contrary , Nani is in the form of his life and is improving in his crossing day by day . So i would not be surprised if Nani is being preferred . But Giggs’s experience and tracking back will be very needed in the fixture .

Rooney has been in fantastic form and is hungry for goals since his suspension . And Tevez’s instant impact against lyon would mean he gets the start ahead of saha who will start on bench .
There isn’t much to talk about rotation in our defense . It is well going to be the same back four with VDS on goal ..

Newcastle United are still in doubt whether Given’s status with his groin strain  . It is unlikely though that he would get the start . Steven Taylor has the uphill task to manage the due of rooney and tevez and although the lad is very decent , he would have his work cut out , with Bebe partnering him as his co center half . Like Wise cacappa and Stephen carr to stop ronaldo and giggs/nani .

With Nicky Butt playing the DM , and milner the right winger , keagan has a choice to make with his left wing , as he has both nzogbia ( who could be a key player if he starts ) or Duff .
And predicting by the defensive theory newcastle might take after the 6-0 .. Joey Barton might play for the first time against us in his magpies shirt . And smith who would be started as a striker but will mostly likely complete the midfield trio to shut out united’s midfield .

One good news for newcastle united fans is that Michael Owen is scoring goals , although not as sharp as he used to in his liverpool colors , he is a sure start for em .

So the game is for us to the taking . With newcastle trying to shut us out and we having to have the possession in the middle , and trying to break their defense . Their will be mistakes , newcastle are bound to make mistakes , as we can look at their previous game with aston villa where they took the lead and conceded four against carew and co.

I am going for a 2-0 or a 3-1 With Goals coming from Rooney who has always had his fun against the magpies , and Tevez and maybe a penalty from Ronaldo . And James milner to score a goal for Newcastle .
